What is Mid Brain?

The Mid Brain, also called the mesencephalon, is a small region of the brain. The centre brain is located above the brain stem of human beings. it is responsible for the perception of stimuli and the subsequent communication with the right and left hemispheres to process this perceptive information The Midbrain controls things such as vision, hearing, eye movement, and body movement so all the things that we associate with as far as seeing and hearing goes IS CONTROLLED BY THIS PORTION OF THE BRAIN. in order to have thoughts we have to see, touch, hear things this would mean that the object first passes through the Midbrain and then on to the Cerebrum.
